So what does God do?

Well, He has already done everything.  He uses His word (The Holy Bible), His Holy Spirit, Christians, and life circumstances such as dreams, tragedies, near death experiences, sickness, pain, aging, disease, etc…

As long as we continue to harden our hearts and reject His Holy Spirit through sin, disobedience and rebellion, we will remain as slaves in spiritual bondage to darkness.

– God actually allows all this in hopes that our sinful nature will be destroyed and our soul actually saved in the end.

There are also signs of the times and prophecy that has already happened while more is still coming to pass. Not to mention, every place the Bible talks about still exists today and archaeologists are continuing to discover lost cities that are confirming the Bible’s accuracy.

It’s up to us though. We can continue to ignore Him until we die if we want to, but we will eventually face the consequences for our sin.

– God gives back to us in eternity what we desired here on earth. If on earth, we desired truth and a relationship with Him, we get to be with Him forever in Heaven. However, if we reject God and His Holy Spirit, then we are eternally separated from Him.

God does not force anyone to love Him. If he did, we would all just be a bunch of robots. Instead, He just gently calls us and draws us to Him.

Right now, we are living out our one life – our one chance to live on this earth in time for all of eternity – and this is our only chance to get it right…

Don’t miss it.

Matthew 16:26
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

John 15:18-20
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

*If we desire the truth and a relationship with Him, we get to be with Him forever.

Romans 2:7
To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

John 6:44
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Isaiah 55:11
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it

*If we reject God here and now, then He gives us eternal separation from Him.

Galatians 6:8
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;

2 Thessalonians 1:9
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might

THAT is why this is life and death folks… God is not playing a game here. Life is serious and life is eternal one way or the other.

God has done everything He can to rescue us, but He is also the final Judge and prosecutor of our souls. If someone rejects His free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, He is left with no other choice than to send them to Hell at the judgment to pay for their own sins, because that is what they chose.

BUT God has rescued us from Hell and is holding out His hand offering the free gift of eternal life to all who will open their hearts and put their faith in Him.

It is up to us to reach out and take the hand of our loving Father. If we reject Him, we will stay in our sins, die and be judged with the payment being eternal separation in Hell.

Either way, our decision will impact our eternity.

John 5:24
“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

1 John 5:11
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Galatians 6:8
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

*Look at this beautiful passage of what God does to reach people:

JOB 33:14-30

For God does speak—now one way, now another—
    though no one perceives it.

In a dream, in a vision of the night,
    when deep sleep falls on people
    as they slumber in their beds,

he may speak in their ears
    and terrify them with warnings,

to turn them from wrongdoing
    and keep them from pride,

to preserve them from the pit,
    their lives from perishing by the sword.

“Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain
    with constant distress in their bones,

so that their body finds food repulsive
    and their soul loathes the choicest meal.

Their flesh wastes away to nothing,
    and their bones, once hidden, now stick out.

They draw near to the pit,
    and their life to the messengers of death.

Yet if there is an angel at their side,
    a messenger, one out of a thousand,
    sent to tell them how to be upright,

and he is gracious to that person and says to God,
    ‘Spare them from going down to the pit;
    I have found a ransom for them—

let their flesh be renewed like a child’s;
    let them be restored as in the days of their youth’—

then that person can pray to God and find favor with him,
    they will see God’s face and shout for joy;
    he will restore them to full well-being.

And they will go to others and say,
    ‘I have sinned, I have perverted what is right,
    but I did not get what I deserved.

God has delivered me from going down to the pit,
    and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’

“God does all these things to a person—
    twice, even three times—

to turn them back from the pit,
    that the light of life may shine on them.

*God does ALL of these things to a person in their lifetime several times to try to get them to turn from sin and surrender their hearts to Him.

Psalms 14:1-3
The fool says in his heart,
    “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
    there is no one who does good.

The Lord looks down from Heaven
    on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,
    any who seek God.

All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
    there is no one who does good,
    not even one.
